Rev. John Eugene Miller is pastor, author, husband and dad. The Miller's eldest son serves in the United States Army. Pastor Miller has a heart for military families. Military members often say, "Wahiawa Community Church is our home away from home." The Millers also have a special needs son, Peter Flint (22), and Jeda Joy their teenage daughter (16). Pastor John has been in full time Christian ministry for 27 years and has a diverse ministry experience, pastoring churches in Colorado, Florida, West Virginia and Hawaii. Rev. Miller and Carla have been pastoring the Wahiawa Community Church since 2012. They call Wahiawa their home
John attended Olivet Nazarene University where he studied Marketing and Psychology until transferring to Nazarene Bible College where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in biblical studies. Then he completed a Master of Ministry Degree from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Pastor John currently writes and delivers weekly messages of hope, encouragement and victory on a local cable network on the Island of Oahu Hawaii, called Nazkine TV. Miller has written and published two books. Journey to the Center of the Heart and Forgiveness, The Greatest Gift You'll Ever Give Yourself.
John has traveled extensively throughout the world on mission trips for the Church of the Nazarene. He has journeyed to Djibouti Africa, Ethiopia Africa, Lima Peru twice, Nicaragua twice, Guatemala twice, Honduras, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Russia, and Belize. He gained experience working with and speaking to other cultures on these trips.
The Miller's love living, working and playing in Hawaii. Two of their sons graduated from Leilehua High School. Daughter Jeda currently attends Leilehua High School, she loves music and sings on the praise team. Carla owns and operates Moving Stitches Hawaii, a custom embroidery business.
